This past week the Fluke Bite exploded with trips getting boat limits and Monster fish! Fish between 9 and 13.76 pounds! 13.76 Captain Shamus is holding in the top pick, boated by Nick Jeffreys. Trips south of Block are producing nice Fluke and even on the beaches the bite turned on and kept anglers busy with an ample amount of keeper sized Fluke with Jumbo Sea Bass mixed in! Schoolie Stripers were taken on top water with RonZ lures and diamond jigs at the Center wall. The Striper Bite at Block Island was hot the past few days out by the wind farm with 26-36 inch fish mixed in the quarry taken on the troll and jigging. North end of Block is loaded with sand eels which the schoolie bass are feeding on. Keeper sized bass were taken on the troll and the Jig yesterday. The June full moon is June 28, which means we should see the first push of Trophy Bass arriving on the reef.
