August 29 Fishing Report

Inshore:

The Fluke and Black Sea Bass bite has remained hot with boat limits on Sea Bass and nice big Fluke up to 11 pounds! The Cod bite has been spotty with only a handful of fish taken on the couple trips we had this past week. The daytime striped bass bite has slowed to a crawl as the fish have been feeding at night due to the full moon.
False Albacore and Green Bonita have started to show around the west and center walls of Point Judith.

Offshore:

Plenty of mahi around! All of our boats that have ventured offshore the last week have loaded up! 18-39 fish per trip!
The Marlin bite is on! Big Game and Knot Reel Teeth hooked into Some nice Blue and White Marlin this past week! We raised 4 other fish as well but just couldn't get the hook ups. Offshore action is just starting to heat up finally with signs of yellowfin and big eye tuna starting to show in good numbers in the canyons. We're sailing daily and finally have some open days.
