Plenty of schoolie striped bass around feeding on sand eels around Block Island, taken top water and on the troll. There are some nice Fluke around but the bite has been inconsistent at best. One day you crush them, the next is slow. Nice fish up to 7 pounds this past week. The cod bite continues to be hot around block and Coxes Ledge. No monster cod but plenty of keepers 22-25 inch fish.
Offshore:
The Bluefin tuna have arrived with reports of fish being taken not too far from the Point. We start our offshore season next week!
